“I’m removing my podcast from @Spotify,” Mary Trump tweeted. “I know it’s not a big deal but hope it will be part of a growing avalanche.”

Mary Trump has a podcast called “The Mary Trump Show” which released an episode on Wednesday titled “#DeleteSpotify. In the episode, which can still be downloaded through Apple, Mary Trump said she does not agree with Spotify’s decision to carry “The Joe Rogan Experience,” which has been criticized for spreading misinformation related to the pandemic.

She added that Rogan’s show, which boasts over 10 million listeners, is “so moronic, it’s painful” and said it is inaccurate and offensive.

Spotify has already reportedly lost $4 billion in market value following Neil Young’s departure.

Young’s announcement sparked a slew of media coverage and subsequent stories on how users can remove Spotify from their electronic devices, causing a hit to the company’s stock.

On Monday, Rogan posted a video to address the controversy.

“Do I get things wrong?” he said. “Absolutely I get things wrong, but I try to correct them.”
