NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A now-former DoorDash driver was arrested Thursday after allegedly defiling an NYPD officer's Chipotle order, including placing a note inside the burrito bowl implying that he put his genitalia in the meal.
Lance Layne, 30, was charged with attempted assault on a police officer, tampering of consumer product and criminal tampering, according to police.
Layne allegedly dropped off the order Thursday afternoon at the 61st Precinct station house in Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn, according to reports.
In a video posted to Facebook, the driver is shown sticking his bare hands into what looks like a burrito bowl and putting in a small note.
“Hope that d*** tastes good," read the note, implying that his hands weren't the only body part to come into contact with the meal, according to WABC-TV.
The driver also captioned the video, he's going to "to violate the s*** out this order 61st precient ... I dreamed of moments like this … god u been so good to me like idk how to re pay u.”
DoorDash said in a statement, "This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and has no place in our community. We take the trust and respect of merchants, customers, and Dashers extremely seriously. We have deactivated the Dasher and have reached out to the customer involved."
And Chipotle said in a statement that the driver's actions were "inexcusable," and that it has ensured that DoorDash has deactivated the account.
