Ellen DeGeneres has confirmed that her syndicated talk show will end after its 19th season.
"When you're a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged – and as great as this show is, and as fun as it is, it's just not a challenge anymore. I need something new to challenge me," DeGeneres told The Hollywood Reporter.
DeGeneres, 63, informed her staff May 11, and will sit down with Oprah Winfrey to discuss her decision on the May 13 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
