ALLENDALE, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A former New Jersey high school teacher has been arrested and charged with giving pornography to and having "sexual conversations" with a minor, prosecutors say.
Kyle Kubicki, 29, of Wayne, was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and providing obscenity to a minor earlier this week, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said Thursday.
Kubicki was a music and band teacher at Northern Highlands Regional High School, the prosecutor's office said.
Prosecutors say Kubicki had "sexual conversations" with a child under the age of 18. The former teacher also gave "pornographic materials" to a child, according to prosecutors.
The prosecutor's office learned about the allegations from the New Jersey Institutional Abuse Investigation Unit on Monday. The office didn't provide any additional details about his arrest.
Kubicki is currently being held at the Bergen County Jail, the prosecutor's office said. His attorney information wasn't immediately available Thursday.
1010 WINS has reached out to the high school for comment on his arrest.
