NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An Amber Alert was issued Monday afternoon in New Jersey for a female infant, but less than three hours later, she was located.
And the suspect she was with, her non-custodial father, was taken into custody.
"Chinna Payne, a 2-week-old baby girl, of East Orange, N.J. has been safely located," New Jersey State Police tweeted at 3:24 p.m.
Officials are initially said they were searching for 17-day-old Chinna -- and a suspect, non-custodial father Damion Payne, 27.
Officials said he was armed with a handgun.
The were last seen in East Orange, in a 2016 white Nissan Altima, with a Virginia license plate of VPF6043.
The alleged abduction took place at 26 Lindsley Place at 12:45 p.m., according to East Orange Police.
