NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — After the city spent months applauding the doctors and nurses on the front lines of the battle against the coronavirus, health care workers are now showing their support for protesters in the fight for justice.

WCBS 880’s Kevin Rincon on Tuesday traveled with protesters as they made their way past Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, where they were met by applause from healthcare workers.

“This is just one of the more remarkable moments along this protest,” Rincon reported. “There’s a line of nurses standing outside, clapping and you can hear the demonstrators cheering right back, chanting ‘Thank you.’”
