HOBOKEN, N.J. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are investigating after the body of a man was found face down inside a Hoboken park Thursday morning, authorities said.
The body was found face down in Maxwell Place Park along the water, sources told 1010 WINS.
The incident prompted authorities to close down the park temporarily, police said.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office and the Hoboken Police Department are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a male found deceased in Maxwell Place Park. The Cause and Manner of Death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner's Office.
Circumstances of the man's death remain unclear and an investigation remains ongoing.
