MANHASSET, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- A 69-year-old financial analyst was busted with 18 handguns in his Manhasset home Thursday.
Matthew Spigner pleaded guilty to similar gun charges in 2021.
Agents from the Department of Homeland Security, the Postal Office and the Nassau County District Attorney's Office raided Spigner's home just after noon and found the weapons cache.
Investigators from these three departments noticed he was receiving weapons parts in the mail even after the 2021 case, prompting a warrant.
Spigner is charged with four counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He faces a minimum of 12-and-a-half years in prison with a maximum of 54 years.
