HUNTINGTON STATION, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A Long Island man was arrested in his town of Huntington Station this week for driving with dozens of license suspensions, Suffolk County police said Thursday.

Walter Castillo Ocho, 45, was pulled over after an officer noticed him driving a 2010 Toyota without a valid inspection sticker on Maplewood Road, near White Pine Court, just before 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

During the traffic stop the officer determined that Castillo Ochoa had 74 license suspensions across 12 dates and placed him under arrest, police said.

His Toyota was impounded, and Castillo Ochoa was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, which is a felony.

Castillo Ochoa was released on a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned at a later date.
