
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Long Island man was arrested Friday in connection to nine commercial establishment robberies in the past 6 months, authorities said Saturday.

Beginning on Jan. 25, the Ronkonkoma man, 54-year-old Robert Blackmore, would throw a rock at the exterior of the businesses to get in before stealing cash from inside, police said.
The businesses robbed included IHOP, Starbucks, Stacey’s Bagels, Bagel Express, Duck Donuts, Princess Deli Bagels, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza and two Dunkin’s.
Three of the robberies, including the two Dunkin’s, happened on Friday which led police to Blackmore.
Cops arrested him at 10:12 p.m. after locating him on the Long Island Expressway near Commack Road in Dix Hills.
Blackmore was scheduled to be arraigned Saturday.
