CORAM, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A 64-year-old man was charged Tuesday for allegedly stabbing his roommate to death inside their shared Suffolk County home.
Anthony Smith stabbed the victim, identified as Jon Hall, following an altercation at their Carr Lane residence just before 5 a.m., police said.
The 55-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Smith was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, police said.
He was held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Wednesday.
