WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A Suffolk County woman was critically injured in a single-car crash early Sunday in West Babylon, police said.
Police said Jazmine Champion, 33, was driving a 2021 Honda Accord northbound on Straight Path around 4 a.m. when she lost control, crossed the southbound lane and struck the overpass for the Southern State Parkway.
Champion was alone in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
She was transported to good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, police said.
