NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another injured in Manhattan late Tuesday, authorities said.

Police responded to a 911 call of a man shot at the Fulton Houses in the vicinity of West 19th Street and Ninth Avenue in Chelsea at approximately 10 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers observed two men shot, the NYPD said.

A 27-year-old man was shot in the right arm, and the second victim, a 31-year-old man, was shot in the abdomen, according to police.

EMS transported both victims to NYC Health & Hospitals/Bellevue, where the older victim was pronounced dead.

The younger victim remains in stable condition.

There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
