NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 1-year-old baby boy was bitten in the Bronx, police said Monday.
Police received a call just before 3 a.m. Monday from a caller at a subway station reporting an assault on the toddler.
When officers arrived, they found the boy with his grandmother. He had teeth marks on his back, police said. It's unclear if they were from a person or an animal.
According to police, the boy wasn't bitten in the subway but at a home on Fillmore Street in the Van Nest section.
He was transported in stable condition to a hospital.
Police are investigating, and no arrests have been reported.
