NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 1-year-old girl died on Friday after she got into a pool outside of a Bronx day care and drowned, sources told 1010 WINS.
The child was found unconscious and unresponsive at 2117 Story Ave., a home-based day care center in Unionport.
She was taken to Montefiore-Einstein Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
It was not immediately clear how she got into the pool.
The medical examiner will determine an official cause of death.
