NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The FDNY rescued 11 people from a sinking fishing boat off Brooklyn on Wednesday night, officials said.

The boat was docked off Pier 1—at East 26th Street and Emmons Avenue in Sheepshead Bay—when it started taking on water around 9:30 p.m.

Citizen App video shows the boat submerged off the pier as the FDNY works the scene.

First responders used a makeshift bridge to allow the 11 passengers to crawl to shore.

All of the passengers were treated at the scene, except for a man who transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. He appeared to be conscious and alert in video from the scene.

The capsized boat was still in the water Thursday but was expected to be removed.
