14-year-old boy severely injured in Bronx stabbing: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A 14-year-old boy was seriously injured in a stabbing on the border of the Allerton and Pelham Parkway sections of the Bronx, police confirmed.

Police received a 911 call reporting an incident near White Plains Road and Pelham Parkway at 6:04 p.m. on Saturday.

Responders found a 14-year-old boy suffering from multiple stab wounds caused by an unknown sharp object, police said.

The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi by EMS and is likely to survive.

There is no information on a suspect and no arrests at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
