
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD is investigating after a 14-year-old boy was shot in Brooklyn Sunday evening.
Just before 5 p.m., police responded to a 911 call near the Taylor Wythe Community Center at the intersection of Clymer Street and Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg.
Upon arrival, officials discovered the teen with a gunshot wound to the hip.
EMS transported the boy to a local hospital in stable condition where he’s expected to recover, cops said.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
