15-year-old boy killed subway surfing in Queens: sources

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 15-year-old boy is dead after subway surfing in Queens early Friday morning in a holiday tragedy, sources told 1010 WINS.

It happened near the Queensboro Plaza subway station at about 2:45 a.m.

Officers discovered the teen unconscious and unresponsive off the 7 train tracks, police said.

He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue where he was pronounced dead.
