NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating after the fatal slashing of a teen in Queens on Friday afternoon.
Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing near 76th Street and 86th Avenue in Woodhaven just before 3:45 p.m., cops said.
The 17-year-old victim was discovered with trauma to the neck, and was rushed to a local area hospital in critical condition, authorities said.
They were pronounced dead by hospital staff.
The teen’s identity has not been released. Information on what led to the killing or any possible suspects was not immediately available.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
