PATERSON, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Four people, including two children, were injured, and two dogs were killed, in a New Jersey house fire early Wednesday morning.
Just before 5:45 a.m., two adults, an 8-year-old child, and an infant were pulled from the third floor of a home on Madison Avenue in Paterson that was consumed by a two-alarm fire, officials said.
The fire was under control by about 7:45 a.m., Deputy Chief Andrew Ricciardi said.
The fire left thirteen people homeless.
"Thankfully, our firefighters were able to contain it. However, 13 people have been displaced, 4 individuals were transported to the hospital and 2 dogs died. Please pray for the victims," Mayor Andre Sayegh posted on Facebook.
