NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A two-alarm fire in the Bronx injured four firefighters and two civilians on Wednesday afternoon, according to the FDNY.

The fire broke around around 4:30 p.m. at a two-story house on Manida Street near Lafayette Avenue, officials said.


The department sent 106 fire and EMS personnel from 25 units to respond to the blaze.

The firefighters had the situation under control by around 5:45 p.m.

Fire marshals have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
