NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two SUV vehicles overturned in separate incidents Thursday morning on Staten Island, authorities said as they continue to investigate.
Just before 7 a.m., a Mercedes-Benz SUV flipped over on its roof in the crash at Delafield Pl. and Davis Ave. in West Brighton, the FDNY said.
A person was transported to Richmond University Medical Center.
In a separate incident, a car and utility truck were also in a crash at Forest Ave. and Victory Blvd. in Tompkinville.
The dark-colored Toyota SUV driven by a woman landed on its roof.
A red Toyota SUV that was turned on its passenger side was pushed up against a utility pole, officials said.
Firefighters were on the scene and a person was taken to Richmond University Medical Center.
