NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two boys were injured on Monday night in Brooklyn while playing with fireworks.
Police said the accident happened around 7:15 p.m. near 57th and 9th Ave in Sunset Park.
The 11-year-old boy sustained injuries to his chest and right hand. The 13-year-old boy injured his eye.
Both boys were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition, according to authorities.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident, and it remains unclear how the boys came into possession of the fireworks.
