
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A domestic dispute led to a shooting in the Bronx Wednesday that left two people dead, officials said amid reports an off-duty NYPD officer.
Police said the victims -- both pronounced dead at the scene -- were father and son.
Police received a call at 12:30 p.m. of a domestic disturbance at 1306 Fteley Ave., just north of E. 172nd Street in Parkchester.
When they arrived they discovered the bodies.
The shooting is being investigated as a possible attempted murder-suicide in which a father shot his son, who is anthe off-duty officer, according to a WABC report that police weren't immediately able to confirm.
The off-duty officer was supposed to play baseball Wednesday with fellow officers, and when he didn't show up, they went looking for him.
