NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two firefighters were injured while trying to put out a 3-alarm fire that ripped through several Bronx homes early Monday, officials said.
At around 1:20 a.m., approximately 138 firefighters from 33 units responded to a call of a fire that began inside a home at 2580 Harding Avenue in the Throggs Neck section.

The fire quickly spread to two other attached homes and due to the high winds.
Firefighters get the blaze under control3 a.m., FDNY said.
Two firefighters are being treated for minor injuries, officials said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
