
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two people were injured after debris fell from some scaffolding on the Upper West Side on Monday afternoon, officials said.

The FDNY said the incident happened at 2:42 p.m. at West 78th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
NBC 4 reports the debris fell as multiple people were walking under the scaffolding, including a woman carrying a baby.
Fire officials transported two victims to NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Officials have not confirmed the victims' ages or the severity of their injuries.
