NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating the deaths of two men that were fatally shot in separate incidents early Tuesday in Brooklyn. and Staten Island.
Just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, officials responded to a 911 call of a man shot at 3310 Avenue D in Flatbush.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 30-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive in front of the location, with a gunshot wound to his head.
EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
At approximately 2:40 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of another man shot inside of 19 Stanley Avenue in the Tompkinsville neighborhood in Staten Island.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his face.
EMS pronounced the male dead at the scene.
Police have not released the identities of the victims.
There are no arrests for either shooting at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
