NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two men were shot and injured in a drive-by shooting on the Upper West Side Friday afternoon, the NYPD said.
The men, ages 33 and 41, were in the courtyard of an Amsterdam Houses building at 216 W. 64th St., between Amsterdam and West End avenues, around 12:20 p.m. on Friday when four males of unknown ages pulled up in a black Chrysler minivan, police said.
One of the minivan occupants fired several shots, hitting the 41-year-old man once in the back and the 33-year-old man once in the left arm, the NYPD said.
Both men were taken to nearby hospitals and were expected to survive, the department said.
No one has been arrested in connection with the shootings, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
