NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A father and son were fatally gunned down in a fourth-floor hallway of an East Flatbush apartment building on Sunday night—in a clash with a downstairs neighbor about noise.

The father and son, ages 47 and 27, were pronounced dead at the scene at 1418 Brooklyn Ave., a six-story building in Flatbush Gardens.

NYPD officers responding to a 911 call around 10:30 p.m. found them both shot multiple times in the head and body.

Police believe the father and son were arguing loudly about something when a neighbor, upset about the noise they were making, confronted them.

A law enforcement source told the Daily News that the three men were arguing in the hallway when the father brandished a pair of scissors and the neighbor whipped out a gun and unleashed a hail of bullets.

Surveillance video is said to show the neighbor taking an elevator to the lobby and fleeing the scene after the shooting.

No arrests have been reported as the investigation continues.
