NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD released images Friday of two suspects in a pair of sex attacks on women in their 70s in Brooklyn and the Bronx this week.
One woman was attacked and nearly raped by a cemetery in Brooklyn, while the other was sexually assaulted and robbed inside her home in the Bronx, according to police.
The most recent attack happened around 6:30 a.m. Thursday outside Holy Cross Cemetery in East Flatbush.
A 75-year-old woman was attacked in the area of Tilden Avenue and Brooklyn Avenue, police said.
A man tried to rape her on the street before fleeing on foot westbound on Tilden Avenue, according to cops.
The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.
Just three days earlier in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx, a 78-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in her home by an intruder.
Shortly before 1 a.m. Monday, a man entered her home at Graff Avenue and Schurz Avenue through the front door and exposed himself to her, police said.
He then “forcibly touched her throughout the body” and stole her purse, credit cards, two landline phones and jewelry, according to police.

The victim suffered minor physical injuries that didn’t require hospitalization, police said.
The two attacks aren’t believed to be connected.
