NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two people climbed atop the Empire State Building on Wednesday afternoon and hung a "power of love" banner before they were apprehended by police.
Wild video shows the pair—masked and clad in black—on the antenna mast of the 102-story skyscraper around noon.
Balancing over 1,400 feet above the city, the daredevils unfurled a banner that read, "When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace."

One of them also appeared to propose to the other on one knee before they descended.
They were taken into police custody around 1 p.m., the NYPD said. Their names weren't immediately released.
No injuries were reported.
