NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police on Thursday released surveillance footage of two suspects sought in a jewelry burglary at a Brooklyn mall over the weekend.
At approximately 11:48 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, the suspects entered Kings Plaza Mall located at 5100 Avenue U in Mill Basin by walking through the parking garage and prying a door open, officials said.
Once inside, the suspects evaded security and took approximately $55,000 of jewelry from a stand located at an island kiosk.
The suspects then fled on foot across Flatbush Avenue to Avenue U towards Ryder Street.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
