
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released new surveillance footage on Monday of two suspects sought in a subway shooting over the weekend in Brooklyn.
At approximately 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old man exited a southbound Q train inside of the Avenue U subway station in Sheepshead Bay, when they were approached by the suspects, authorities said.
The suspects, acting in concert, discharged a firearm multiple times, striking the 18-year-old in the right arm and torso The 21-year-old man was struck in the left leg, officials said.
EMS transported the 18-year-old man to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn and the 21-year-old man was taken to Maimonides Medical Center. Both victims are in stable condition.
The suspects fled on foot out of the station to parts unknown.
