
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are investigating after two women fled the scene of a fatal crash at a Queens intersection early Tuesday.
It happened at around 12:29 a.m., at the intersection of Horace Harding Expressway and Kissena Boulevard in Flushing, authorities said.
According to officials, a Honda Accord, traveling southbound on Kissena Boulevard collided with a U-Haul traveling westbound on Horace Harding Expressway.

A 56-year-old man was struck at the crosswalk as a result of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 42-year-old man driving the Accord was transported to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in stable condition.
The two women in the U-Haul fled the scene, police said.
An investigation remains ongoing.
