The second man, also 21, was grazed in the lip as a gunman on a moped unleashed a hail of bullets at E. 149th Street and Jackson Avenue in Mott Haven around 6:15 p.m. Sunday. He refused medical attention at the scene.

It wasn't immediately clear if the victims were believed to be the intended targets.

Shell casings were recovered at the scene.

The gunman fled on the moped. He was last seen heading west on E. 149th Street, according to police.
