
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 21-year-old man was shot and killed in broad daylight outside a Brooklyn auto repair shop on Tuesday afternoon, and police are searching for the gunman.
The shooting happened at around 2:15 p.m. in front of Robel Auto Repair, located on Meserole Street near Union Avenue in Williamsburg, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead at NYC Health + Hospital/Elmhurst.
Cops are searching for a suspect clad in all black and wearing a black mask who fled the scene on a scooter.
The owner of Robel Auto Repair was not at the location at the time, but his son was. He told 1010 WINS that the victim was a customer getting a work done on his car.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
