NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD has released surveillance video showing the terrifying moment a man was ambushed by three gunmen during a robbery on a rooftop parking lot of a Queens shopping center.
The incident happened back on April 30 in the Jamaica section of the borough.
Police said the 37-year-old victim was walking to his Range Rover, which was parked on the rooftop lot of the Jamaica Colosseum Mall, when a man armed with a rifle charged at him and demanded his property.
As the victim tries to evade the suspect, the video shows two more men armed with handguns run over and point their weapons at him.

The victim managed to get into the driver seat of his vehicle, but did not escape the incident unharmed.
Police said as the first suspect flung open the rear passenger side door to steal a wallet from the back seat, he also fired off a shot from his rifle, striking the victim in the right leg.
The suspects took off in a grey BMW 5 Series 4-door sedan that was parked in the same lot. The vehicle was last seen heading westbound on 89th Avenue.
The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.
The New York Post reports the victim had been shopping for jewelry at the mall prior to the incident.
The stolen wallet contained an ID and bank cards, but no cash.
