NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Three men seen beating a Jewish man in Midtown pleaded guilty last week and will likely face at several years behind bars in connection to the 2021 antisemitic attack.
Mahmoud Musa and Mohammed Othman pleaded guilty to the charge of second-degree assault as a hate crime Wednesday in the assault of Joseph Borgen that occurred on May 20, 2021 in the Diamond District.
The two men between 3 1/2 to 15 years behind bars at their Oct. 25 sentencing. Manhattan prosecutors said.
On Friday, a third attacker, Mohammed Said Othman, pleaded guilty to attempted gang assault.

Prosecutors recommend Said Othman receive a three-year sentence.
The attack happened near a pro-Israel rally when Borgen had just exited the subway at the Times Square station.
Borgen, who was wearing a yarmulke at the time of the assault, was pepper-sprayed and had antisemitic slurs hurled at him.
He suffered a concussion, wrist injury, black eye as well as bruises all over his body.
