
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Three people including a child were injured on Sunday when the floor of a hair salon collapsed into the basement of the Bronx building, according to authorities.
The incident happened at around 6 p.m. at the New Klaman Hair Braiding hair salon located at 1351 Prospect Avenue in the Morrisania neighborhood.
The victims ran out of the salon when they suddenly noticed the floor shifting and began to hear strange noises, the FDNY said.
The two adults suffered minor injuries and were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital. The child was taken to Montefiore and being treated for minor injuries, police said.

No one was reported missing as a result of the collapse, an FDNY spokesperson said.
The Department of Buildings inspectors issued a violation to the property owner for not properly maintaining the building.
