3 hospitalized in separate Brooklyn shootings overnight

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Three men were injured early Saturday morning in separate shootings across Brooklyn, according to police.

A 53-year-old man was hit in the right leg on Broadway near Myrtle Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 1:15 a.m., officials said.


The victim was reportedly shot as part of a dispute with another man.

Less than an hour later around 1:50 a.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in the torso during an argument with a different man on New York Avenue near Fulton Street also in Bedford-Stuyvesant, according to authorities.

A 37-year-old man was reportedly hit in the stomach on Gravesend Neck Road near McDonald Avenue in Gravesend just after 2:30 a.m.

Emergency responders took the 53-year-old man to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. The 24-year-old was brought to Kings County Hospital, and the 37-year-old was taken to Lutheran Hospital.

All three victims are in stable condition and authorities expect they will survive.

Police have not yet made arrests in the shooting investigations.
