3 men fatally shot in Brooklyn in 3 hours, 4th killed in Queens

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Three men were fatally shot in Brooklyn over a span of roughly three hours Wednesday, and a fourth man was gunned down in Queens, police said Thursday.

No arrests have been made in the string of Brooklyn shootings between about 4 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. or in the Queens shooting just hours later.

The first shooting was in front of a Chinese restaurant at Avenue W and West 13th Street in Gravesend just after 4 p.m.

Officers responding to a 911 call found a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest outside the restaurant.

EMS rushed the victim to Coney Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was later identified as Rasard Deas, of Brooklyn.

The gun violence continued several hours later, when a 38-year-old man was shot multiple times in East Flatbush.

The victim was shot around 6:50 p.m. in an apartment building on Clarkson Avenue, near Utica Avenue.

Responding officers found the victim in a second-floor apartment with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS and has not yet been identified.

A 22-year-old man was also found shot and wounded outside of the Clarkson Avenue apartment building. He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was in stable condition with a gunshot wound to his stomach.

Just minutes later, shortly before 7:15 p.m., police responded to a 911 call at Montauk and Hegeman avenues in East New York.

When cops got to the scene, they found a 22-year-old man shot in the head inside of his home.

EMS pronounced the victim dead. He was identified as Tristan Templeman.

According to the Daily News, Templeman’s body was discovered by his mother, a health care worker, as she was returning home.

“I opened the door and I found him,” Joan Templeman said. “There was blood, and his body was behind the door. The police have no answers for me.”

A fourth man was fatally shot in Queens about three hours later around 10:15 p.m.

Police said the 37-year-old victim was shot at 221st Street and 94th Drive in Queens Village.

He was found lifeless in front of a home on 221st Street and rushed to North Shore University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He has not been identified.
