NEW YORK (1010 WINS/ WCBS 880 NEWS) – A man was punched and stabbed by three unidentified men after accidentally bumping a woman with his backpack on the mezzanine of a subway station in the Bronx on Sunday, police said.
The victim, 44, bumped into a woman with his backpack at the Moshulu Parkway subway station in Norwood at around 5:30 p.m. which led to an argument with her and three men who were with her.
The fight escalated and the men punched and stabbed the victim multiple times and then stole his cellphone before running away on foot, police said.
The victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Police are looking for the four attackers believed to be aged between 20 to 25.
