NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Three people were shot, one fatally, in the Bronx on Wednesday morning – the latest in a rash of deadly shootings in the borough this week.
The three people were shot just after 8:30 a.m. on College Avenue, north of East 170th Street, in the Claremont section, police said.
The victims included a 37-year-old man who was shot in the chest and killed. He hasn’t yet been identified.

Also shot were a 62-year-old man who was hit in the arm and a 59-year-old person who was shot in the buttocks, police said.
A person of interest was taken into custody, according to police.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing, but it may have been sparked by a tenant dispute.
Wednesday's shooting came after two people were killed and four injured in several shootings over an eight-hour span on Tuesday in the Bronx. Among the victims was an Amazon driver who was shot on the job.
