4 men sought in Bronx bedroom break-in, shooting: police

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police are looking for four men allegedly involved in breaking into a man's Bronx residence and shooting him.

On Aug. 23 at about 1:30 p.m., police said four men forcibly entered a 34-year-old man's home in the area of East 171st Street and Morris Avenue in Mount Eden.


Once inside, the men kicked down the victim's bedroom door, and a fight ensued, according to the NYPD.

Police said one suspect fired multiple shots at the victim, with one striking him in the rear.

The suspects fled down East 171st Street and the victim went to a hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police described those involved as four dark-skinned males, approximately in their 20s. Photos show three of the four sought by authorities.
