NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for four suspects who allegedly ambushed a man and violently robbed him mid-ride on the 7 train in Queens.
The NYPD released images Tuesday of the suspects in connection with the robbery aboard a Manhattan-bound train in Long Island City on the night of Friday, Jan. 10.
The 37-year-old victim was seated on the train as it approached the Vernon Boulevard–Jackson Avenue station around 11:30 p.m. when the group sat next to him.
They shoved him and then robbed him of $25 and his cellphone before fleeing, police said.
No significant injuries were reported, according to the NYPD.
