
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Four people were hospitalized to treat slash wounds after a brawl broke out outside of a nightclub in Manhattan early Saturday morning, the NYPD said.
Two groups got into an altercation that turned violent outside of Opus Lounge, located 417 West 202nd St. in Inwood, at about 4:15 p.m., police said.
When officers arrived, they discovered a 31-year-old man with a slash wound to the face, and EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem.
Shortly after, three women went to Columbia University Irving Medical Center to be treated for slash wounds. They were transported by private means.
Two 24-year-old women suffered slash wounds to their right hands, and one 26-year-old woman was cut across the right side of her neck, left ear and right hand.
Police said that all four victims are in stable condition and they were attacked with an unknown sharp object.
It was not immediately clear how the fight broke out.
One suspect is in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
Opus Lounge describes itself as a night and dance club that hosts “Uptown’s Best Friday Party.”
