
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are looking to identify four suspects who violently robbed an Uber driver at gunpoint in Brooklyn earlier this week, authorities said.
At approximately 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, a 45-year-old Uber driver was waiting for a passenger at 586 Alabama Ave. in New Lots when he was approached by the four suspects.
One of them punched the driver multiple times in the face, officials said.

When the victim exited his vehicle, the suspects displayed a firearm and demanded his property.
A physical altercation ensued and one of the suspect struck the victim in the head with a metal scooter.
No property was taken, and the suspects fled the location on foot, traveling northbound on Williams Avenue.
EMS transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center with minor injuries.
