4 sought after throwing whipped cream at man, woman in Brooklyn anti-Asian hate crime: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released photos on Wednesday of four suspects wanted in connection with a hate crime in which they allegedly threw whipped cream at a man and woman while making anti-Asian slurs in Brooklyn last month.

The two victims were targeted near Albee Square in Downtown Brooklyn on Oct. 19 at around 10 p.m., police said.

The victims, both 29, were walking in front of 445 Albee Square when four unidentified individuals approached them, threw whipped cream at them, and made anti-Asian remarks before fleeing on foot.

No injuries were reported, police said.
