NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police released photos on Tuesday of two suspects wanted in connection with a robbery and attack at a Manhattan subway station earlier this month.

The attack happened on Feb. 17 at around 3 p.m. when four unidentified unidentified men approached two teenage boys, ages 16 and 15, on the southbound platform at the Dyckman Street station in Inwood, police said.

The suspects punched and kicked the victims before displaying a scalpel and slashing the 16-year-old victim on the head. The 15-year-old victim was also slashed on the nose and lip, according to police.

The attackers then forcibly took the 16-year-old's cellphone and Nike Jordan sneakers and removed one sneaker from the 15-year-old victim before fleeing the scene on foot, heading north on Dyckman Street.

Both victims were transported to NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center in stable condition.

Police released photos of two of the suspects involved in the attack.

The first suspect is described as approximately 16 years old, with a medium complexion, slim build, and black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark green Canada Goose coat with a hood, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers, police said.

The second suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black winter coat with tan fur on the hood and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
